The Gwinnett Coalition was founded in with the purpose of developing an infrastructure to optimize efficient use of public funds and to stabilize funding for health & human services, the development of cluster service centers around the county to improve service accessibility, efficiency and quality, and a prioritized focus on planning for children and families including older adults.

For 26 years, the Gwinnett Coalition is a public/private partnership whose mission is to facilitate collaboration that improves the well-being of the community.  We are working the multi-generational community partners and nonprofit agencies to help Gwinnett succeed and tackle the issues that matter in our community.

The practice of collaboration and collective impact is changing our community.  The Gwinnett Coalition’s mission has operated for over 26 years to enhance collaborative community planning, applied research, community education, membership diversity, consensus building, advocacy, and innovation.

We do this through our multi-year strategic planning process, focus areas (Basic Needs, Community Relations/Engagement, Education, Economic and Financial Stability, Health and Wellness, and Safety), and peer-based strategies that operate and build our community committees.  We are volunteer-driven and partner-centered.  We build our communities alongside partners who have the same goals and ambitions to create a stronger Gwinnett community.

The Gwinnett community IS the purpose of the Coalition. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to addressing the health and human service needs of everyone in Gwinnett. Your support matters to our organization and the operational work we are committed to driving impact and making Gwinnett a stronger, healthier, empowered community for our NEXT generation of Gwinnettians.
