The Positive Youth and Family Development committee addresses issues affecting our youth population. The goal is to implement prevention efforts that will increase protective factors, thus decreasing risk factors such as substance abuse. Please join this committee to join family services organizations and youth service providers in their continued work in community resources and support/kinship care, mentoring/career skills, and prevention activities.
We alternate every other month – first hosting a main meeting which will include a training/education/resource and on the alternative month will host a subcommittee working meetings in the areas of Mentoring/Career, Community Resource & Kinship Care, and Prevention.
