The Early Learning committee currently focuses on the issues centered around educational attainment of children ages birth to five (5). The goal is to ensure that all individuals and families have access to affordable and quality early child care and education.
This committee is made up of youth service providers who work with at-risk youth. The committee’s focus is to address issues surrounding child trafficking, sexual abuse/assault and bullying. This group is tasked to develop awareness and prevention initiatives on the subject matter. To learn more about the Stewards of Children program we are currently promoting, please join us at our committee meetings, or visit the website.
We alternate every other month – first hosting a main meeting which will include a training/education/resource and on the alternative month will host a subcommittee working meetings in the areas of Mentoring/Career, Community Resource & Kinship Care, and Prevention.
