The Gwinnett County Veterans Resource Center is always happy to welcome new volunteers to the Center. There are always veterans to greet, papers to file, coffee to make, and projects to be completed.
Volunteers ages 21 years and up are especially welcome and there are times of the year when families can come and help as well – sharing at an Open House, giving out food at Thanksgiving, helping celebrate Christmas with Veteran and Military families and more.
Some training is required – as there are different areas of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are especially needed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays when the office is busy with many veterans coming and going.
You do not have to be a veteran to volunteer but if you are, all the better! “Veterans Helping Veterans” is what the Gwinnett County Veterans Resource Center is all about. Come and see for yourself and give some of your time to make a difference in someone’s life today!
